CAMELS project consists of 5 sizeable workpackages: WP1. Data Harmonisation and Consolidation WP2. Model Validation and Uncertainty Analysis WP3. Modelling of the 20th Century Land Carbon Balance WP4. Development of a System for Carbon Data Assimilation WP5. Dissemination of Information The project workplan is shown schematically as the interconnection diagram. CAMELS - Interconnection diagram:  The figure shows the inputs, outputs and deliverables for each workpackage. The time-work flow chart is given below diagram  The objectives of CAMELS are served by the path WP1-WP2-WP4-WP5 for development of the novel carbon data assimilation system, and WP1-WP2-WP3-WP5 for estimates of the 20th century European land carbon sink and its causes. There will be a natural exchange of information between these two humps since common participants and models are involved (e.g. transfer of improved parameters and initial conditions from WP3 to WP4). However, WP3 and WP4 will be carried out largely in parallel. |
